Heavy metal origins

Since the end of the Second World War, a lot of artistic movements have been developed. First, an artistic movement is created by an artist or a group of artists who share the same idea. They also have go an aesthetic project even though paint literature etc. Every artistic movement is associated to a precise historical period. A movement can highlight a new way of thinking of what is art, a vision of a society challenged on a new aesthetic. The borders between the movements are often fuzzy and extends all around the world.
We will ask ourselves, how is a movement created? It is simple, an artistic movement can be initiated by an artist or a group of artists, a critical historian who write at a look of set of art works. It also can be created due to a manifesto.
During the 60s, the "heavy metal" term heat appeared and comes from the "rock term". Rock music appeared first in the US and also in the UK. In a large sense metal or heavy metal means that all the music comes from traditional metal and hard rock. Metal comes from "blues" which is a music a bit softer than the different kinds of heavy that we can listen to today. A metal band is more commonly composed of instruments like solo guitar, rhythm guitar, bass and drums. In addition to the main singer who is very important in the group, the guitar remains the most important element in a metal band that highlights the power of this type of music (also with an amplifier).
